DAILY SCHEDULE
As children arrive, they have time to play. The teacher will have prepared an activity ahead of time that can ease children into the day, playdough, water color, tempera paint at the easel etc., to help ease the transition from home to school for some children. A staff person will spend time with children who are having a hard time adjusting to the classroom, while another staff member helps parents deal with fears around separation.

The children enjoy breakfast, lunch and a late afternoon snack. Breakfast includes cereal, fruit or fruit juice and milk. Lunch will have two servings of fruit and/or vegetables, bread or other starch, meat or other protein substitute and milk. Afternoon snacks are two items selected from the meat, dairy, starch, fruit or vegetables categories.
Story hour and films at the Library are offered weekly throughout the year. Seasonal reading and activities program are offered as well. These programs include art projects, films, story hours, live animal presentations, puppet shows and magicians. Certificates of attendance are awarded when the enrichment programs are completed.
