Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is one of the largest tertiary academic hospitals in the country with a rich and thriving clinical and research environment encompassing multiple specialties across several disciplines. The MGH Neurology department consists of more than 230 physicians and scientists, many of whom have gained national and international recognition for their clinical and/or research efforts. The mission of the department is to find new treatments and cures that eliminate the devastating impact of neurological disorders. This is supported through collaborative programs such as the Center for Human Genetic Research (HGR), the Neurological Clinical Research Institute (NCRI) and the Center for Rare Neurological Diseases (CDRN).
The Third Rock-MGH Neuroscience Fellowship is a 2-year fellowship program focused on discovering, launching, and building important companies that develop breakthrough products for patients with neurologic and psychiatric disorders, and reinforce a new paradigm of industry-academic partnership to pioneer new treatments in neurological diseases.
