MOVEMENT DISORDERS FELLOWSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM

To apply for the Movement Disorders Fellowship program, please send the following:

  • Your Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Three letters of recommendation.
  • A statement (one-page maximum) of your goals for the fellowship, including how many years would you like to stay here (include plans after fellowship)? Would you like your training to be all clinical, all research (name particular laboratories in which you are interested or questions about labs), or a mixture? What drew you to movement disorders? What are your plans after your fellowship?
  • Your visa status, if applicable. Note: movement disorders fellowships do not count as specialty training programs for J1 visa purposes.

We prefer that you send the material by email to Alice Flaherty. If you don’t have Internet access, send your information by mail to:

Barbara Marino
Department of Neurology
Massachusetts General Hospital
WAC 720

Boston, MA, 02114

If everything above looks promising, we will ask you to come for an interview.

If you are interested in a research or mixed clinical/research fellowship, your funding would probably come from a particular laboratory. It need not be at MGH, but is generally within the Harvard system. You should contact laboratories in which you have interest separately, but we may be able to coordinate funding and clinical/research time with them.

Please feel free to contact Alice Flaherty if you have any questions.
