Applications
Thank you for your interest in the Partners Neurology Training Program. Applications should be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) of the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). A link to the ERAS system can be found on the NRMP website: www.nrmp.org.
ERAS accepts applications beginning September 1. Interviews are arranged beginning in late September. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible to expedite scheduling of interviews. Interviews are held through November, December, and early January and submitted to ERAS for the match in March. Matching applicant will begin their neurology training our program 16 months after the match, after they have completed a year of medical internship. All adult neurology residents are appointed through the NRMP.
Stipends and Benefits
Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital offer generous and competitive wage and benefits plans that takes the Boston area cost of living into account. The hospitals provide malpractice insurance for residents and fellows. Comprehensive medical insurance is offered at a minimal fee. Other benefits include life insurance, travel, accident and long-term disability insurance, tax sheltered annuities, health care and dependent care tax saving plans, direct deposit and the Harvard University Credit Union. In addition, fees for a public transportation pass (a T pass) and a subsidized health club near the hospital can be directly deducted from the salary.

The neurology program also provides PDAs to each trainee at the beginning of their training and provides $250 of book money per year.
