  • MGHfC physicians engage with ‘mommy bloggers’

    Nine local mothers who blog about parenthood visited MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) on July 31 to meet MGHfC physicians and learn about three popular pediatric health topics – obesity, food allergy and sleep behavioral disorders.
  • Program improves food choices

    MGH Nutrition and Food Services launched the “Choose Well, Eat Well” program in 2010 to encourage more healthful food choices by MGH employees, patients and visitors patronizing the Eat Street Café and other food service sites.
  • PIE nomination period in full swing

    The deadline for the 2012 Partners in Excellence (PIE) award nominations is Sept. 14.
  • Team helps treat burn victims in Ukraine

    The Doctors Collaborating to Help Children organization recently launched a new telemedicine program allowing MGH and Shriners physicians to provide quick and efficient consultations for acutely ill burn patients in Ukraine.

  • Lunder OR iMRI milestone

    On Aug. 1, MGH staff performed the first surgical case in the Lunder Building using intraoperative magnetic resonance imaging (iMRI).
