With reflection and resolve, the MGH marked the one-year anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings with a series of events and moments to honor the victims and the survivors, and to recognize the hospital community that came together to heal both bodies and minds.

MassGeneral Hospital for Children (MGHfC) patients and their siblings were treated to an egg-stravaganza in the Howard Ulfelder, MD, Healing Garden at the Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care on April 17.
It was a week filled with mixed emotions, but on April 16 the atmosphere under the Bulfinch tents was one of excitement and anticipation as MGH marathon runners and staff celebrated the upcoming race.
Named in honor of Ernest M. Haddad, who served for 21 years as general counsel for the MGH and Partners HealthCare, the annual Ernest M. Haddad Lecture in Law and Ethics lecture features speakers who are experts on topics related to ethics and conduct in the health care environment.
