BiographyI did my medical school and residency in Chicago. I have been an active staff physician at Massachusetts General Hospital since 1990.  My interest is the care of midlife women during perimenopause and menopause, and I am certified by the North American Menopause Society as a menopause practitioner.  I also have an interest in gynecologic care for conditions such as uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding and contraception management. I am actively involved in the teaching of medical students and residents in Gynecology.
