We deliver high quality, comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgery patient care.
Welcome to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. Our department is committed to the four missions of our institution: patient care, research, education and community service. Our doctors and staff are leaders in a broad range of treatment and services.
We are committed to the education and training of the next generation of academic surgeons and academic dentists.
We are dedicated to improving patient care through leading-edge research. We have two established centers, the Skeletal Biology Research Center and the Center for Applied Clinical Investigation, and our most recent research is focused on quality and safety, and education/simulation. Our community health initiatives bring our expert care outside the hospital, focusing on the local opioid crisis and how to best deliver oral care to members of our community who do not have sufficient access to care. As we expand into the future of clinical care, research and education, we look to continue our long history of excellence. Welcome to our department; to learn more about any of our services, research and programs, please contact us.
