OMS resident and fellow stand out at AAOMS meeting

Mass General fellows in oral and maxillofacial surgery were recognized for their outstanding research at the annual scientific meeting of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (AAOMS).  Dr. Seenu Susarla, who completed the CACI fellowship in clinical investigation and is currently a Mass General resident in oral and maxillofacial surgery, was awarded the Oral Abstract Scientific Presentation Award for his paper entitled "CD34 Staining Predicts Giant Cell Lesion Clinical Behavior".  Dr. Maria Papadaki, who completed the pediatric OMS fellowship, was awarded top prize for her poster entitled "Immunohistochemical and Histomorphometric Analysis of the Porcine Maxillary Distraction Wound at the LeFort I Level."
