The Spine Tumor Service combines the expertise of the Orthopeadic Spine and Orthopaedic Oncology Services with that of Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Oncology and other services in the evaluation and treatment of primary and metastatic bone tumors of the spine. The Orthopedic Oncology Service is the largest group of its type in New England and is one of the largest orthopeadic oncology services in the world. The Orthopaedic Spine Center consists of fellowship trained spine surgeons experienced in the most modern techniques of spine tumor resection and spinal reconstruction. A weekly Sarcoma Conference assures a multidisciplinary approach to all patients.
