Biography
Dr. Dennis Burke earned his BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MD from the Strich School of Medicine at Loyola University, Chicago. He completed the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program and a surgical biomechanical research fellowship through the Harris Orthopaedic Laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Burke is a Clinical Instructor in Orthopaedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School and has continued to work with the Harris Orthopaedics Laboratory.
Research
Dr. Burke's research interests include the biomechanics of the knee and hip. He has made important contributions to studying the mechanics of implants and ways to make them last longer.
