Dr. Yates provides podiatric services at the MGH Yawkey Center. His practice includes general foot care, arthritic foot care and podiatric sports medicine.
Dr. Scott Yates earned his BS in Biology from the State University of New York (Albany) in 1975 and his DPM from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1979. He later completed his Podiatric Residency training at Jewish Memorial Hospital (New York) in 1980, and a Podiatric Fellowship in Rheumatology at St. Vincent Hospital (Worcester, MA) in 1981.
Dr. Yates has been an active member of the MGH Podiatry Service since 1983, and he is a faculty member of the MGH Podiatric Residency Program. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics.
Dr. Yates' research interests include arthritic foot conditions and podiatric sports medicine.
