
Dr. Kigner's goal is to maximize his patient's mobility through preventative care, education regarding their foot conditions, and partnership in treatment.
Biography
Dr. Stuart Kigner received his BS in biology/psychology from Franklin and Marshall College (Lancaster, PA). He received his DPM degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine (Philadelphia), later graduating from the Central New England Podiatry Residency Program. He has lectured professionally and to community groups on a variety of topics pertaining to disorders of the foot.
Dr. Kigner is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Orthopedics and Primary Podiatric Medicine. He joined the MGH podiatry staff in 1984, and is also a faculty member of the MGH Podiatric Residency Program.
Research
Dr. Kigner's research interests focus on risk stratification and self-management strategies to prevent diabetic foot complications.
