Guoan Li, PhD
Director, The Bioengineering Laboratory
Dr. Li began the Bioengineering Laboratory in 1998. Since then, he continues to increase the size of the research team after relocating to the Massachusetts General Hospital in 2003. He is a mentor to students in various departments at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Boston University including: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Physics. In addition, Dr. Li is host to numerous international research fellows. His major research interests are the biomechanics of human musculoskeletal joints.
