Research Statement
Kamal joined the Bioengineering Laboratory at the Massachusetts General Hospital in the summer of 2009 after receiving his biomedical engineering degree from the George Washington University. He completed his bachelor's degree in the fall of 2008 and is currently pursuing his MD at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Science.
Kamal’s research is focused on the estimation of the in-vivo forces in the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) using advanced imaging techniques combined with a robotic testing system. His research interests include sports related injuries, biomechanics, and osteoarthritis.
