Dr Reid came to the Palliative Care Service for a year's fellowship and stayed on as an attending physician and the Fellowship Director. Coleen is presently the Palliative Care Physician at the Hospice of the North Shore outside Boston. She is a family physician with interests in wholistic aproaches to the patient's experience of serious illness, aggressive symptom management, and care focused on improving quality of life.

"I hope to make a difference in how patients experience both their illness and their care. When medicine approaches its technological limits, doctors need to better understand how to bridge that gap, and to serve patients in a way that maximizes their well-being."
