Craig received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and his Masters
degree in philosophy before earning his medical degree from Ben
Gurion University at the Medical School for International Health.
He completed both a residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship
in Palliative Care at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. His
interests include cancer pain, existential/spiritual issues at the
end of life, and medical ethics: specifically, questions regarding
ethical decision-making at the end of life, international health,
virtue ethics and the application of Jewish medical ethics in palliative
care.
"I find no greater satisfaction than working with patients
and their families when faced with a life-limiting illness. Understanding
the many ways in which we suffer and finding how to alleviate that
suffering, is not only the essence of medicine, but an opportunity
to develop as a human being."
