Dr. Suen grew up in Hawaii and attended medical school at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. She then went on to complete an internal medicine residency and geriatrics fellowship at the Boston Medical Center, and a Palliative Care fellowship at MGH. Her interests include bereavement issues and discovering ways in which integrative medicine can be used to care for patients living with life-threatening illnesses. She is now the Director of Palliative Care for the Cambridge Health Alliance.
