Dr. Krakauer is a physician on the Palliative Care Service,
actively engaged in supporting an HIV program in Viet Nam. His interests
in the humanities, in critical care and in caring for the medically
under-served led him into palliative medicine. He also serves on
the ethics consultation committee and as attending physician on
the Medical Service at MGH, and teaches an advanced course on palliative
medicine at Harvard Medical School.
