Gary is a family physician from Chicago where he was active in community health, working with immigrants, refugees, and other underserved populations. He has been involved in international health efforts in Africa, Asia and South America through the CDC and Doctors without Borders. Following his fellowship at MGH, Gary went to the Hospice & Palliative Care Service at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System in California.
