Juliet joined the Palliative Care Service as an attending after completing a residency at Columbia Presbyterian hospital in New York city and a palliative care fellowship at MGH. She teaches end-of-life care to fellows, residents, and medical students and is involved in academic reasearch and writing on the subjects of patient grief and demoralization. Juliet is heading up a quality improvement project to expand and evaluate the role of the interdisciplinary team in advanced care planning in the hospital setting. When she is not at work, she enjoys reading and playing with her new baby girl.
I enjoy dealing with families and knowing the personal histories
of my patients. From each meeting, I hope to
gain some wisdom and experience so that I can better guide my patients
through the process of serious illness.
