Make
a Donation Giving to the Palliative Care Service Because Mass General Hospital is a fully qualified charitable organization, all gifts to the Palliative Care Service are tax-deductible. Each gift you give makes a difference in the lives of those we serve. Each gift helps the MGH Palliative Care Service meet the growing demands to care for patients and families coping with a life-threatening illness.
These gifts support our bereavement services and our community consultation and training efforts, which are not reimbursable. In addition, the MGH Palliative Care Service depends on the financial support of others in order to extend services to patients and families regardless of their ability to pay. Your tax-deductible gift will be greatly appreciated and acknowledged. Memorial gifts Many grateful families show appreciation for the care their loved one received by designating the MGH Palliative Care Service to receive memorial gifts. Memorial gifts offer meaningful ways to express sympathy, love and respect while remembering family members and friends. You may designate the MGH Palliative Care Service as the beneficiary of memorials so that family and friends may make donations in the memory of loved ones. Appropriate acknowledgement for memorial gifts is always sent to both the family and the donor. You can specify the MGH Palliative Care Service in the obituary by stating "The family requests that donations be made to the MGH Palliative Care Service, 55 Fruit Street, Boston MA 02114."
