Originally from Revere, Michael graduated from UC Irvine Medical School, and did his residency training at Loma Linda University in California. He worked for several years in Beijing, PR China and as a faculty member of the University of Southern California Medical School before joining the palliative care team in 2004. He speaks fluent Chinese and Spanish, and enjoys racquetball, golf, and spending time with his son, Anthony, and his wife Yen. He is presently Medical Director of Palliative Care Services at St. Agnes Medical Center in Fresno and Kaweah Delta Hospital in Visalia, CA. He is also Medical Director of Hinds Hospice in Fresno.
