Originally from Washington DC and a graduate of Smith College with
a degree in French Language and Literature, Rebecca's life path
reflects her multi-faceted interests. She has lived in France, Belgium,
and Israel and travelled extensively, has been a vocalist with the
Washington Opera Company, a cave and wreck expedition scuba diver,
and a veterinary assistant in wildlife rehabilition and coastal
oil spill response. She returned to Washington DC to begin her journey
in medicine. After her Fellowship, Rebecca became the Medical Director
of the Hospice of Metro Denver.
In the modern practice of medicine, it is a luxury to spend
enough time with each patient to explore his or her fears and dreams.
By doing so, there is an opportunity to learn and to grow, both
for the patient and for the physician. That is the privilege I look
forward to most of all.
