Partners HealthCare

Partners HealthCare was founded in 1994 by Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital.

The Partners affiliation was established to create an integrated health care delivery system providing excellent, cost-effective care while maintaining the Mass General’s history of dedication to teaching and research.

Partners is an integrated health care system that offers patients a continuum of coordinated high-quality care. The system includes primary care and specialty physicians, community hospitals, the two founding academic medical centers, specialty facilities, community health centers, and other health-related entities. Partners HealthCare is a nonprofit organization.

In addition to the founding institutions, Partners HealthCare System now includes North Shore Medical Center, Newton-Wellesley Hospital and Faulkner Hospital.
