Robert Paul Hasserjian

Dr. Hasserjian trained in Anatomic Pathology and Hematopathology at Brigham & Women's Hospital and joined the pathology staff at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2002, where he is currently Director of the Hematopathology Fellowship and Associate Director of the Pathology Residency Program.
Dr. Hasserjian's clinical work and research focus on the pathogenesis and classification of myeloid neoplasia. He was a member of the pathology advisory committee in the 2008 WHO Classification of Myeloid Neoplasms and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Society for Hematopathology.

- Molecular mechanisms of leukemia and lymphoma.
- Novel pathologic, immunophenotypic, and molecular prognostic markers in myelodysplastic and myeloproliferative diseases, leukemias, and lymphomas
