Assessment and Management of Psychiatric Problems in Patients at Risk for Injury

An all day course that addresses assessment and management of patient's at risk for injury including change in mental status: cognitive assessments the key to understanding differential diagnoses;  delirium; dementia; alcohol withdrawal and difficult patients. Contact hours will be awarded.

Contact Hours:
Massachusetts General Hospital (OH-239/10-1-08) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OSN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Criteria for successful completion include attendance at the entire event and submission of a completed evaluation form.

Registration Fees:  Free for MGH Employees and Students, $50 for Partners Employees, $100 for All Others.

The Norman Knight Nursing Center does not accept credit card payments for registration of programs.  
Public transportation is strongly recommended  to attend continuing education programs. Garages in the vicinity of MGH generally charge approximately $ 40  per day. MGH does not reimburse for parking.
