A Symposium on Evidence-Based Nursing Practice

Evidence-based practice has become a watchword in health care, with the randomized blind clinical trial (RBTC) representing the gold standard for guiding clinical practice. Nursing practice, however does not always lend itself to traditional investigational approaches. Contact hours will be awarded.

Contact Hours:

Massachusetts General Hospital (OH-239/10-1-08) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OSN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Criteria for successful completion include attendance at the entire event and submission of a completed evaluation form.

Registration Fees:  Free for MGH Employees and Students, $25 for Partners Employees, $50 for All Others.

The Norman Knight Nursing Center does not accept credit card payments for registration of programs.  
Public transportation is strongly recommended  to attend continuing education programs. Garages in the vicinity of MGH generally charge approximately $ 40  per day. MGH does not reimburse for parking.
