Cardiac Visiting Scholar Program

The Cardiac Visiting Scholar Program brings internationally known speakers annually to share their research, participate in cardiovascular patient care rounds and a patient care panel discussion; and to present a topic of clinical interest. Our 2008 scholar is Kathy Dracup, DNS, RN, FAAN, Dean University of California, San Francisco and Editor of the American Journal of Critical Care will be at MGH April 7and 8. She will be presenting her research on treatment delay for Acute Coronary Syndrome and discussing the development and nurturing of multidisciplinary team in cardiovascular care.

Contact Hours: 1 contact hour per program will be awarded.

Massachusetts General Hospital (OH-239/10-1-08) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OSN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Criteria for successful completion include attendance at the entire event and submission of a completed evaluation form.

Open to all staff, pre-registration is not required.
