A Creative Approach to Communication: The Moon Balloon Project

Imagery is the body-mind's inner language. Art and symbols are the voice or expression of that language. This workshop for caregivers uses images and symbols as containers, building a sense of safety and then participants are drawn out, by creating visual images on paper. This workshop will teach the caregiver how to use creative expression to help patients and families express their most sensative feelings regarding fears, illness and hospitalization through the safety of symbols. The target audience is the direct caregiver in the pediatric areana, yet our adult colleagues would also benefit from this workshop. You will recieve the Moon Ballon Book and a Training Guide to take home.
