Nursing Resilience: Bouncing Back

This program will focus on  how nurses are resilient every day.  Three elements of resilience; altruism, optimism and spirituality will be discussed in relation to nurse-patient-family interactions.  Participants reflect upon their own clinical narratives to uncover the elements of resilience that strengthen their practice and explore ways to further enhance those that are less evident.  Nurses will apply evidence-based strategies that promote resilience in nursing practice. Target Audience: Nurses in acute care and ambulatory settings. Contact hours will be awarded
