Pain Relief Champion: State of the Art & Science

The State of the Science suggests we have known for decades how to prevent and alleviate pain successfully in most patients. Yet pain remains prevalent, is often undertreated and contributes to delayed recovery or complications for many patients. This 2-day course examines the problems of needless pain and reviews evidence-based and best-practice approaches to overcome barriers believed to underly this gap between science and practice.  This multidisciplinary interactive course imparts requisite knowledge and skills for participants to effectively assess and manage pain. Advanced content on the second day helps participants apply this knowledge through case-based and hands-on activities as well as developing strategies for improving pain treatment in their clinical practice environment.

No registration fee for this program and limited number of Non-partners employees may attend. Contact hours will be awarded.
