Preceptor Development: Learning to Teach, Teaching to Learn

This program is geared toward staff nurses and advanced practice nurses who have served, or are interested in serving as clinical preceptors for new graduates, experienced nurses, student nurses or international guests.  Participants explore the roles of educator, role model, facilitator and clinical coach as well as partner in planning and guiding clinical experiences. Contact hours will be awarded.

Massachusetts General Hospital (OH-239/10-1-08) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OSN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Criteria for successful completion include attendance at the entire event and submission of a completed evaluation form.

Registration Fees:  Free for MGH Employees and Students, $50 for Partners Employees, $100 for All Others.

The Norman Knight Nursing Center does not accept credit card payments for registration of programs.  
Public transportation is strongly recommended  to attend continuing education programs. Garages in the vicinity of MGH generally charge approximately $ 40  per day. MGH does not reimburse for parking.
