Understanding Addiction in the Perinatal Setting
All-day interdisciplinary conference encompassing medical/psycho-social/legal issues for pregnant and postpartum women and the newborn. Topics include: Biology of Addictions - Stages of Recovery – Treatment - Behavior management - Newborn Response to substances of abuse - Child Protection, DSS - Rehabilitation for newborn withdrawal.
