The Orren Carrere Fox Award for NICU Caregivers was created in 1997 to recognize staff caring for patients and families in Newborn Intensive Care Unit whose practice exemplifies a commitment to the principles of family centered care. The award is given annually to any hospital employee who works in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. The award grant allows the clinician to learn and then share with the staff, ways to promote family involvement in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.
