MGH trustee, Martina Horner, in honor of her father who valued nursing education, created the Demetri Souretis Fund in 1998. Registered Nurses are reimbursed for the cost of professional and specialty certification and re-certification examinations offered by a nationally recognized professional nursing organization. Registered Nurses must complete the reimbursement form, have it signed by their manager, attach evidence of payment and send it to Mary Ellin Smith, RN, The Norman Knight Nursing Center for Clinical & Professional Development, Founders House 644.
