The Norman Knight Nursing Center for Clinical & Professional Development collaborates with staff throughout Patient Care Services to promote clinical excellence and professional advancement by offering programs that integrate innovations in clinical practice, research, continuing education, and training into patient care delivery. The Norman Knight Nursing Center staff, in partnership with other professional groups and department, is committed to creating a learning environment in which all clinicians and staff can excel. Professional opportunities are made available to staff in an effort to advance knowledge and promote quality patient care. Excellence in care and services are acknowledged and celebrated through a variety of awards, recognition and professional certification programs. The Norman Knight Nursing Center Staff include clinical educators, professional development coordinators, clinical nurse specialists and nurse scientists. Program activities are supported through the efforts of a database manager, conference coordinator and staff assistants.
