Ellison 14 is a 26 bed-medical oncology and bone marrow
transplant unit. Patients on this unit are primarily admitted for induction
or cyclical chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, symptom management,
progressive disease and/or end of life care. Ellison14
Yawkey 8E is a 60 bed/chair infusion unit in the Division of of Hematology-Oncology. The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 8 PM and Friday and Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM. There are 18 beds and 42 chairs. Adult cancer patients are referred to the Infusion Units from the oncology practices in the Division of Hematology and Oncology. Patients are referred for treatment with and management of toxicities from chemotherapy and biotherapy.

Bigelow 12 is a 15-bed/chair unit. There are 10 chairs and 5 beds. The
hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6:30 PM. Adult
cancer patients are referred to the Infusion Units from the oncology practices
and the Bone Marrow Transplant program. Patients are referred for treatment
with and management of toxicities from chemotherapy and biotherapy. Cox

The Department of Radiation Oncology offers a variety
of state of the art radiation treatment to cancer patients. These treatment
options include external beam treatment, brachytherapy, intra-operative
treatment as well as proton beam therapy . Our clinical areas are located
in the Cox Cancer Center as well as the Northeast Proton Therapy Center
that opened in November 2001.
