Ellison 13 is a 20-bed unit The patient population includes high risk
antenatal women requiring hospitalization during their pregnancy for diagnosis
that include diabetes, premature rupture of membranes, placenta previa,
renal problems and premature labor.

The obstetrical service is comprised of labor, delivery, recovery rooms,
two operating rooms, and a triage area on Blake 14 and 21 private postpartum
rooms and three nurseries on Blake 13. These areas admit obstetrical patients
at any point throughout their perinatal course in addition to newborn
who meet level I or level II criteria as determined by DPH regulation
and medical evaluation. Blake 13
