Bigelow 7 is an eighteen-bed unit dedicated to the
care of women from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds with
complex needs and problems associated with benign and malignant gynecologic

The obstetrical service is comprised of labor, delivery,
recovery rooms, two operating rooms, and a triage area on Blake 14 and
21 private postpartum rooms and three nurseries on Blake 13. These areas
admit obstetrical patients at any point throughout their perinatal course
in addition to newborn who meet level I or level II criteria as determined
by DPH regulation and medical evaluation. Blake

The 18 bed NICU is comprised of 14 level 3 ICU beds and 4 level 2 Special
Care Nursery Beds. The NICU provides in house emergency nursing service
to both full term and premature infants born at the MGH Vincent Obstetrical
Service as well as emergency transport in service for infants born at
Partners Wide nurseries and the New England Region. Blake 10

Ellison 13 is a 20-bed unit The patient population includes high risk
antenatal women requiring hospitalization during their pregnancy for diagnosis
that include diabetes, premature rupture of membranes, placenta previa,
renal problems and premature labor. Ellison

Ellison 17 is a 20 bed general pediatric unit caring
for children with medical and surgical needs from ages of 1 day through
approximately 5 years. Ellison 17

Ellison 18 is a 20 bed general pediatric unit caring
for children and adolescents with medical and surgical needs from ages
of 5 years through 19 years. Ellison 18

The PICU is a multidisciplinary 8 bed Intensive Care
Unit for children from birth to the age of 19. Bigelow 6

The Nurse Partners Pediatric Telephone Triage Program
provides after hours nursing triage for newborns, infants, children, adolescents
and their parents. Nurses respond to over 60,000 calls per year covering
165 pediatricians from 45 practices. The program is located on Ellison
