BLS (CPR) Certification for Healthcare Providers
Successful completion of this program certifies staff in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers. This class is geared to RNs and MDs. First piority for class space will be given to staff who are required to have AHA BLS as part of their position. All others are encouraged to compete unit-based age-specific mannequin demonstration to meet training requirements. Class time runs from 8:00am - 12:30pm.
Review of the AHA Healthcare Provider Manual is mandatory. This book can be obtained through the Norman Knight Nursing Center for Clinical and Professional Development (Founders House 312 and 316). All candidates must pick up the book at least a week in advanced of class

The Norman Knight Nursing Center does not accept credit card payments for registration of programs.
Public transportation is strongly recommended to attend continuing education programs. Garages in the vicinity of MGH generally charge approximately $ 40 per day. MGH does not reimburse for parking.
