The Nurse Scientist Advancement Model provides a structure to acknowledge and support the development of nursing scholarship at MGH for doctorally-prepared nurses. The goal of the program is to support nurse researchers committed to a research career and provide needed resources to help accomplish this goal. Protected research time and mentorship are available to nurses with doctoral preparation as:

• Associate Nurse Scientists
• Nurse Scientists
• Senior Nurse Scientists
