SCOPE OF THE PROGRAM
The Diversity Program for Patient Care Service is designed to address the issues of:

  • recruitment
  • retention
  • culturally competent care
  • student focused academic to practice site "pipeline programs"
  • career coaching and mentoring
  • community based affiliations

FUNCTION
The Diversity Steering Committee of the PCS Collaborative Governance structure is responsible for the planning and implementation of educational programs and celebratory events which highlight practice competence and organizational contributions of a highly diverse staff caring for a multiethnic and multicultural patient population.
