After clicking on a link a new window may open with
the contents of a new website. The new window is referred
to as a "pop-up" window.
This site uses "pop-up windows" when linking
to websites outside of the PFLC.
The new pop-up window is overlayed on top of the main
window, which contains this site.
Some points to remember about pop-ups windows are:
- You can navigate and click links within the new
window.
- The window can be, if desired, expanded to fill
the entire screen by clicking on the middle rectangular
icon in the upper right hand corner of the window.
- When you are finished browsing in the new window,
close the window by clicking on the "X"
in the upper right hand corner of the browser window.
The main browser window, with the PFLC web site, will
be visible.
- It is a best practice to close each pop-up window
when you are finished browsing in the new window.
If it is not closed and another link is clicked from
the main window, additional windows will be opened
in Internet Explorer and will be visible at the bottom
of your screen.
