Annual Varaztad H. Kazanjian Memorial Lectureship
Initiated in 1971 by Bradford Cannon, the first Chairman of Plastic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, the annual Varaztad H. Kazanjian Memorial Lectureship recognizes the seminal work and profound contributions of Dr. Kazanjian. Each year the plastic surgery house staff elects a visiting professor whose work stands out in the field of plastic surgery. The visiting professor participates in a 2-3 day series of lectures, including grand rounds and observation and teaching in the operating room. Clinical case presentations are always a highlight of the annual lectureship.
