2016 Psychopharmacology Conference - October 20-23

The conference offers an in-depth review of the latest research and advances across dozens of mental health conditions. Anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, OCD, psychosis, PTSD, substance use disorders, and much more. In every session, our faculty focus on empowering mental health, primary care, psychology and nursing professionals with insights you can use to optimize your care for patients with psychiatric conditions.

Description
Standards of care in psychiatry evolve faster than ever. There is a constant stream of data from new clinical trials, research on medications, and studies on behavioral interventions. The faculty at this psychiatry conference are the researchers who lead many of these innovative studies. They lead you through in-depth sessions, answer questions during panel discussions and discuss ideas face-to-face after their sessions. There are also Curbside Consultation hours when psychiatry experts are available to address specific questions and clinical challenges. The focus at this conference is more than to simply share knowledge. Faculty strive to help attendees translate what they learn into enhanced mental health practice. The conference agenda touches on many complex topics in mental health, including managing side effects, drug interactions, natural medications, combining pharmacologic and psychosocial treatments, and much more. The insights gained on these topics will give you ideas and confidence you can put to use every day in any practice setting. The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology has reviewed Psychopharmacology 2016 and has approved this program as part of a comprehensive program, which is mandated by the ABMS as a necessary component of maintenance of certification.
