Our Community Mental Health Services programs provide psychologists, social workers and psychiatrists, based in community health centers, to respond to the needs of patients and community members from diverse backgrounds.
Mass General Hospital's community mental health services build on the hospital's long-term commitment to its health center communities of Chelsea, Revere and Charlestown, as well as Boston. Its focus is patients in our communities suffering from severe and persistent mental illness, substance use disorder, poverty, the challenges of immigration, homelessness and multiple trauma.
