  • Anita Hill celebrates Martin Luther King Day with MGHers
    An event well known for showcasing prestigious speakers who have had an impact on the civil rights movement, the celebration of Martin Luther King Day this year featured Professor Anita Hill, a renowned lawyer, educator, author and civil rights activist.
  • New website for Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care launched
    With the scheduled Fall 2004 opening of the new Yawkey Center for Outpatient Care, the Yawkey Center Operations Committee this week launched a new website for the MGH community, offering up-to-date information about the center, its programs and services.
  • MGH staff get a little TLC
    Feelings of stress and tension melted away from MGHers in the Ellison 17 Family Room Jan. 9 as MassGeneral Hospital for Children employees and staff members were pampered with a "Massage Day."
  • New Partners network president and PCHI CEO selected
    Thomas H. Lee, MD, last week was named as network president for Partners and CEO for Partners Community HealthCare, Inc. (PCHI), making permanent the roles he has held on an interim basis for the past month. He succeeds Ellen Zane, who stepped down from the position in 2003.
  • MGHers show Patriot pride
    Mike Neville, of MGH Police and Security, and a friend braved cold temperatures to cheer on the New England Patriots at the playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts Jan. 18. Neville was one of 20 lucky MGHers to win tickets raffled by the MGH.
