Black
History Month recognized at the MGH
The
MGH marked the beginning of Black History Month with a special celebration
of diversity Feb. 2 in the O'Keeffe Auditorium.
During the celebration, entitled "Resilience: The Heart of the African
American Spirit," five MGHers were honored for their contributions
to furthering diversity and excellence at the MGH during a Patient Care
Services Pinning Ceremony.
The honorees were Michelle Anderson, RN, from White 7; Angelleen Peters-Lewis,
RN, from the MGH Endoscopy Unit; Ines Jackson-Williams, RN, from the Same-day
Surgical Unit; Christine Williams, RN, from Ellison 19; and David Miller,
PCA, from Radiology.
