Happiness
is ... a blanket made with love Sandy Spierdowis
(center), and Kathleen Weaver, both of Foxboro, present handmade
blankets to Tony Costello, 12, a patient at the MassGeneral Hospital for
Children. Spierdowis and Weaver are members of the Massachusetts chapter
of Project Linus, a group that makes blankets and delivers them to children
at four Boston-area hospitals. Project Linus is named for the late Charles
Schultz's character, Linus, who was known for toting around his security
blanket. Schultz died Feb. 12. To learn more about Project Linus or to
donate supplies for the blankets, call Kerian Nugent at (508) 695-0979.
